CHICAGO, IL -- The 2003 Gay Erotic Video Awards were presented in Chicago, IL by Gay Chicago Magazine. The award show was co-hosted by Matthew Rush and Kyle Kennedy, with musical performances by Chi Chi LaRue, Honey West and Kelly Love.

Gay adult video stars from around the country flew in to present and receive lucite statues honoring their work. Best Performer was presented to both Matthew Rush and Carlos Morales while Best Actor went to Joe Landon for Apprentice 2: Dark Heart.

The Best Directior Award went to John Rutherford and Chi Chi LaRue for Deep South: The Big and the Easy. Best Comedy Video was presented to White Trash. Best All Sex Video went to Closed Set: The New Crew directed by Joe Gage for MSR Video while Best Video honors were handed out to Deep South: The Big & the Easy from Falcon Studios.

Other awards were presented to MSR Video for Prowl 3: Genuine Leather as Best Leather/Fetish Video, Bruce Cam, Best Videography for his work on Titan Medias Gorge. Chad Hunt won Best Supporting Actor and was part of the ensamble cast of Deep South: The Big and the Easy which one Best Group Sex Scene.

Best Newcomer was presented jointly to Bret Wolfe and Matt Summers. The event ended with the induction of Michael Brandon, Joe Gage, John Rutherford, Jason Branch, J.D. Slater and Jack Simmons to the Grabby Wall of Fame.
